Designing the Village Green.

The village green project has been in the planning for the last 18 months and it hasn’t been without its problems. The idea behind the village green was to design a space that would be accessible to as many staff and patients as possible and for it also to not only be useful during Horticultural Therapy sessions but also as a space which can be used at weekends and evenings as a social area. The area contains multiple raised beds of different heights and widths and will have a level decked and paving surface for ease of accessibility for all abilities.
