Week 6. The top soil has arrived!

We are now into week six of our raised bed build and it was very exciting to see the top soil arrive from our friends at British Sugar.
Work has also started on building the Pergola which was in the Home Thoughts garden at Headley Court, donated by Sutton & East Surrey Water. So glad to have them with us. Once completed it will provide a nice shady place for patients to sit and also, home to our grapevine donated by Hortus Loci – another Headley Court memory.
We have now completed the middle bed which is soon to be planted with an apple tree which also came with us from Headley Court.
End of a very satisfying week.
