We successfully delivered our first Virtual Rural Week of 2021 to seven service leavers and veterans this week and one of our HighGrounders Lt Col Arry Renton who leaves the Army soon after 38 years of service said:

“I thoroughly enjoyed the last few days with you and the presenters and I do not say it lightly when I say; I commend you on the approach taken – it is refreshing. I know you are probably sick of hearing it, but, I did join the Army at 16 and have known absolutely nothing else in my life; that comfort blanket is about to be removed. To sit with others in the same predicament as myself and listen to those that have come out of the forces and made a real go of it really does fill you with confidence. It will help to pave the way for many of us to just go for it….
