During the final residential rural week of 2025, Jim Holland of Carma Earth – who is a wonderful supporter of HighGround – spent an hour talking with the group about his transition journey and how he set up Carma Earth. His story resonated deeply and in particular with beneficiary Kier who took up the offer of joining a planting day the week after the course. 2,500 thousand hedgerow  shrubs and trees planted, the ever present banter and as Kier stated, “A fantastic opportunity to get hands on in an area of land-based that really inspired me whilst on the course”.
