Mike left the Army in 2002 after 23 years’ service.

He joined us for a Virtual Rural Week last autumn which confirmed his desire to work outdoors.

Having secured an interview for a job in Wales which required PA1 and PA2 tickets for Use of Pesticides, he contacted Anna at HighGround to ask if she knew where he could get the funding from.

Thanks to a team effort of Demelza at Lowe Maintenance where Mike did his course, Luke at SSAFA who arranged the funding and HighGround, Mike is now on his way.
