This is Ian’s last day as Chairman of HighGround. We thank him for all he has done over the last 6 busy years.

“As I hand over the reins to Simon after 6 years as the Chairman of this amazing charity, I do so with an enormous sense of pride. HighGround’s role in the military charity sector is quite unique. By capturing the power of the great outdoors for the betterment of those who have served, we have made a transformative, positive impact on the lives of scores of servicemen and women. Whether in aiding the rehabilitation of our wounded, injured and sick at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre with our horticultural therapy service, or helping those seeking a new future in the land based sector, we change lives; that is very special.

As HighGround moves forward, I wish everyone involved with the charity my very best wishes. To our small band of dedicated employees, our lovely team of volunteers and my great bunch of fellow trustees, I offer a hearty thank you and well done!

I look forward to watching HighGround continue to flourish over the coming growing seasons!”
