Update from the Chairman

Yesterday we joined with Bicton College to make the very difficult but necessary decision to cancel our first Rural Week of 2020 (RXW33) which was to have started on Sunday.

We hope to run RXW33 in September and Anna is in touch with all those who had planned to attend. On a more cheerful note, when she contacted them yesterday, 5 of them have already committed to the new planned date..!

Our Horticultural Therapy service at DMRC Stanford Hall continues, although the CO has cancelled all outside visits.

Andy and Jane are busy with the patients in the greenhouse, although sadly our loyal Gardening Volunteers are amongst those excluded from the Unit.

Our Trustees Meeting next month will go ahead albeit by video conference, and we are all committed to supporting the serving personnel and veterans we work with in these uncertain times.

Stay Safe,

Ian Elliott e sig
