We were delighted this week to hear from HighGrounder Tony Malkin, who attended one of the early rural weeks at Plumpton College. His land-based career has certainly been successful and his knowledge has benefitted other veterans too.

“…As a consequence I have become over time not only a deer manager mentor for many Ministry of Defence deer stalkers but also a semi-professional deer manager for several deer management companies in south England.

I have offered my services and knowledge through High Ground to mentor two retiring veterans who have expressed an interest in becoming a deer stalker and or deer manager – David Bence and Matthew Ponting. I remain ready for others who may be sent my way by High Ground.
