HighGround is delighted to announce the appointment of Jamie Crisp as Chief Executive Officer.

Jamie served 24 years firstly with The Devonshire and Dorset Regiment and latterly finishing with 1 Rifles. This was then followed by fourteen successful years as a leader in Further Education culminating as Head of Duchy College in Cornwall. With experience and expertise in both sectors alongside a passion for the land economy, Jamie is uniquely positioned to deliver HighGround’s vision for the Charity at it enters its second decade leaving its Founder Anna Baker Cresswell to focus on raising the funds necessary to support this exciting new chapter.

HighGround’s Chairman Brigadier (Retd) Simon Caraffi said “The appointment of a CEO is an important element of the restructuring of HighGround’s management to allow us to deliver our 5 year plan and the Board and I welcome Jamie to the team. I have no doubt that his personality, experience and skill-set will produce great results and I look forward to working with him. Meanwhile Anna, our Founder, will now be able to dedicate herself to fundraising in order to enable HighGround to achieve its next ambitions.”
