HighGround was proud to join #CaptainTom100 Challenge over the May bank holiday weekend and in recognition of the increased amount of time we have all been spending at home over the last year and to raise awareness of HighGround’s work delivering the Horticultural Therapy service at DMRC Stanford Hall, Sue van Leest our Trustee who chairs the Friends of HighGround suggested as our Challenge we should send the fantastic Indoor Bulb Planner created by our own Andy Wright and designed by Kathryn Jackson, to 100 Garden Lovers and ask them to tag us on social media so we could get to 100 for Captain Tom.

We are so grateful to Vitax who sponsored the cost of printing and posting the Bulb Planners, and Paul Gooding Vitax’s Chairman said HighGround is a fantastic charity and the work delivered through the Horticultural Therapy programme is truly life-changing. We were thrilled to be able to support the charity further with the Captain Tom 100 Challenge and participate in the campaign. It has not only helped to increase awareness of this great charity, but raised much needed funds too.”
