Charities are nothing without the support of volunteers and yesterday (Thursday 2nd May) we had the pleasure of staff from Severn Trent giving a day of their precious time to support HighGround Charity horticultural therapy facilities at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC), Stanford Hall.

Many of yesterdays volunteers were veterans themselves and understand the value service leavers and veterans offer businesses, organisations and institutions when they transition into their post military careers.
A huge thankyou to Severn Trent for selecting HighGround to benefit from corporate volunteering days; we are very much looking forward to working with you again in the future.
