In these uncertain times when fundraising events for charities have been out of the question, our Friends of HighGround Steering Group wanted to be able to look ahead and plan an event which would let our Friends, Funders and HighGrounders know that we are still here, working hard to deliver Horticultural Therapy and Rural Weeks – we have been doing a lot of improvise, adapt and overcome..!

The result is Bridge too Far #B2FAR on 16^th August.

By kind permission of Historic Royal Palaces, we will be starting and finishing at the Tower of London and following the South Thames Path to Chiswick Bridge via Tower Bridge.

The total distance of #B2FAR is 30 miles, and Walkers can choose a distance to suit them from 5 miles.

The cost is £55 which includes bib, face cover, hand sanitiser and Finisher’s T-Shirt.

First Aid and refreshment stops will be provided, and first aiders will be walking the route too.
